My life in Toronto
I have been here with my family for 5 months. Toronto is a modern and beautiful city. I have made some new friends, we often go shopping . sports and travelling together. Now, I study English and improve my English skills from Monday to Friday in Microskills Linc school, I 'm glad to meet my classmates from different countries. Joseph is a very wonderful teacher, I like his class and learn a lot from him. This year for my daughter is important, she is a glade 12 student, she likes drawing and applied the landscape and dressing designs last month. I hope she can get into her favorite universities. This Friday I will have a party and make fun with my friends for celebrating Chinese New Year. I enjoy my life in Toronto.

The celebration was two-fold. It was also a day to hand out Lincoln Alexander Awards to young people who’ve lived up to Linc’s ideals.
Linc was fighting for when he spoke out against racism. He may no longer be with us physically, but his courage and his quiet dignity live on in the bright hope you could see in the faces of those youngsters.
And that’s a remarkable legacy.

Small talk
Today, I enjoyed this topic about small talk in class. It was very interesting fou us. Which questions are polite or impolite in a conversation with someone you just met at a Canadian party? Nobody doesn’t like answer the questions about age, wage, weight, religions, sex and politicS. For example,How old are you? Why are you single? Who do you live with? Do you own or rent your house? How tall are you? How much do you weigh? How do you feel about abortion? What is you shoe size? Are you a Liberal? Have you even been married? Are you Catholic?......These impolite topics in Canada are not same as my country Because they have the different cultures! In China, I think sometimes you can ask some questions about politics, religions, wage with someone .
